The Flow Meter for bulk solids is an industrial measurement device used to determine the mass flow rate of powders, granules, and bulk materials in gravity-fed lines and material transfer chutes. The unit consists of an angled inlet hopper that directs the falling material stream, an internal sensing impact plate equipped with a loadcell, and an inspection door with standard handles for quick access during cleaning and periodic maintenance. The housing is mounted on a flanged base, allowing direct connection to silo outlets, bucket elevators, and material conveying lines.

Operation is based on measuring the impact force generated as falling material strikes the sensing plate; this force is converted by a loadcell into an electrical signal proportional to the instantaneous mass flow rate, which is transmitted to the central control system (PLC).
